about

One Earth Yoga is the cutest little space you can find in Mont Kiara. The smallest studio in town but we're full of heart, charm and character.

 

We run yoga classes, workshops, retreats and trainings. We also have art workshops and events in our space. 

​

We want this space to be used by our community to connect and grow together and we're always open to collaborations, so feel free to reach out to us and let us know what your next idea is.

​

We're nestled in a quiet little complex surrounded by trees which serves as a nice retreat in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city.

 

Our goal is to make yoga accessible and fun for everyone and we provide group and private classes for all levels.

 

In our One Earth community, we believe that we are all connected through our journeys here on earth and we aim to bring people together, inspire them and empower them through learning yoga.

Which Class Should I take?

 

Newbies : As a specialized yoga studio, our classes are focused solely on yoga and the basic classes may also be enough challenge for a newbie. We suggest Yin Yoga for stretching, Hatha Basics to learn basic asanas and Yin & Yang to start off your flow journey.

HAPPY HIPS | INTERMEDIATE - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

A series of hip openers balanced with shoulder work to balance out your body and leave you limber and more flexible. Due to the hip mobility exercises in the class, this class can be a challenge for those with tight hips. To stretch tight hips, we suggest Yin Yoga.

YIN YOGA | LONG HOLD STRETCHES, MOST BEGINNER FRIENDLY

Are you always on the go? Wind down and engage your yin energy. Go deeper past the superficial muscles and into the deep tissues of fascia, ligaments and tendons. Find stillness and see how effective a yin practice can be.

​​

CALMING FLOW | BEGINNER FRIENDLY

A gentle flow that incorporates breath work and slowly opening up tight muscles. Suitable for all levels.

​

DETOX FLOW | ALL LEVELS

An all-level slower flow incorporating twist and forward folds to target the digestive organs and detoxify the body. 

​

VINYASA FLOW | INTERMEDIATE - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

A guided flow that is more cardiovascular led by an experienced instructor that will bring harmonize breath, body and mind at the end of practice. Bring your best attitude to the mat - move in a flow and feel the freedom. 

​

YIN & YANG | ALL LEVELS

Yin is calm like water, Yang is active like fire. Find a balanced class with both powerful yang postures to stimulate the agni (internal fire) and then find the calmness of jal (water) yin stretchers. 

​

HATHA BASICS - ONE EARTH SEQUENCE | ALL LEVELS

One Earth Hatha Basics Sequence is a series of traditional yoga asanas that draw inspiration from more traditional practices such as Ashtanga, Iyeangar and Sivananda. It focuses on key on alignment with elements of yogic philosophy. Perfect for beginners and intermediate students who want a solid foundation to learn your Sun Salutations and warriors.

Please note that we encourage you to book your classes ahead of time and we highly discourage walk-ins because popular classes do get full.

EVELYN

Evelyn’s spiritual practice started at a young age. Growing up in a Buddhist family in Malaysia, she remembers trying and failing miserably at sitting still and attempting to meditate as a child. Eventually, she decided meditation was not for her and that she preferred to move and do sports instead.

 

Then 12 years ago, she discovered yoga. The perfect combination of using both the body and the mind. She admired it for its physical challenges as well as its spirituality – the side that was instilled in her in her youth that never really left.

 

Evelyn teaches a blend of hatha, vinyasa and yin. She believes that yoga is an all-encompassing practice and is beneficial in so many ways, no matter what “style” you practice. She loves teaching and making connections with her students around the world. Her main focus is always on the individuals and how to get them what they need.

 

She is also the founder and teacher at One Earth Yoga.

Hum believes that yoga is the journey of exploring yourself. He enjoys rediscovering himself and feeling reconnected with his own body, mind and soul.

 

After completing his 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training back in 2017, he stays consistent with his yoga practice and studies and continues to share what he knows.

​

Inspired by his teachers, Hum strives to help yogis feel comfortable in their practice, as well as challenging themselves in each practice, and ensuring a safe practice for everyone.

TING

Ting's yoga journey started by having seen her parents casually going for yoga and meditation classes years ago. Being the restless soul that she is, who was curious and craving for a more balanced exercise, she decided to drop in for a few yoga classes. From then on, she fell in love with the practice. No matter where she is, she just had to come back to the mat.

 

Throughout the years she had the privilege to meet many beautiful beings throughout her yoga journey, those of whom who have built her practice over the past 6 years. Her self-practice has gradually become more than just the physical.

 

She believes yoga is an ever evolving inward-focused practice and she wishes to translate that mind-body-soul connection into her teaching, blending feel-good flow, mobility drills with safe body alignment.

Meet Del Lim, a seasoned yoga instructor with a passion for movement, mindfulness, and wellness. With a background in dance and nutrition, Del brings a unique and holistic approach to her yoga practice. Her classes are a harmonious blend of fluid movements, breathwork, and body awareness, designed to strengthen the mind-body connection and nourish the soul. Del's expertise in nutrition adds an additional layer to her teachings, as she empowers her students to cultivate healthy lifestyle choices both on and off the mat.

 

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, Del's warm and inclusive teaching style creates a safe and empowering space for all to explore, evolve, and thrive. A Taurus rising - Pisces sun - Aries moon which means she’s full of love, imagination and passionate about everything she does.

RIN

"For me, stepping on the yoga mat each time, is like going onboard on a ‘magic carpet’. I continue to discover places within me that I never knew existed, physically and mentally."

​

Rin has a Sports Science degree and was a former school teacher. She is a firm believer in long-life learning and has been practicing yoga for more than 15 years. Through the practice of yoga, she hopes to empower you with the ability and knowledge for better self care, appreciation of your physical body and to bring harmony to your body, mind and soul.

Love out space and want to book it for your private event?

We've hosted birthdays, music and art events at our cozy Mont Kiara studio. 

Convenient to find on the main strip of Mont Kiara with ample parking

and lots of restaurants and shops around.​

​

Our intimate space can fit about 10 students and 1 teacher comfortably, total 11 people

for yoga or pilates.

​

It is possible to have more people in the space if it music or art events

wheres participants are sitting or standing.

 

It includes the use of yoga props such as mats, bolsters blocks and straps,

 provided that the props are cleaned and put back in the condition that they were found.
