TRAINING VENUE
Our venue for the yoga teacher training course will be Gajah Mina Beach Resort, located in Balian, on the serene west coast of Bali. Surrounded by rice paddy fields and lined with volcanic black sand beaches and rock cliffs, visitors to Gajah Mina are often taken aback by the surprising cinematic beauty in the area. Unlike the more popular areas of Ubud and Uluwatu, Balian has the charm of both lush greenery and stunning rock cliffs all around, minus the tourists.

A popular destination with surfers, you can expect to watch the waves hypnotically repeatedly crash on the cliffs as the sun sets in the evenings. On your days off, you could even try surfing or sightseeing around the Island of Gods. Our venue is also only an hour and a half away from two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the stunning rice terraces of Jatiluwih and Taman Ayun Temple.

TRANSPORTATION TO GAJAH MINAH RESORT
Gajah Mina Resort is located near Balian Beach and is about 63 kilometers from Bali’s International airport and it takes just over 2 hours to get to there directly from the airport.
Taking a Taxi from Denpasar Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS)
We can help in arranging a taxi from the resort for you from the airport for IDR 550,000 ($36).
Alternatively, some drivers may be willing to take you to Balian for about IDR 350,000 – 400,000 ($23 – $27), depending on the driver and your bargaining skills.
Please note you will need to prepare specific directions for our resort since Bali is popular destination with many resorts around the island. Best to have the location saved to your phone on an app that has offline GPS support (e.g. "Maps.me" or "pre-downloaded offline Google Maps").
Also, cheap SIM cards can be obtained from the airport providing you with data packages as low as $10 for 30 days (this is highly recommended to stay connected with family and friends back home).

UBER Application
UBER is used throughout Bali by locals and foreigners alike and can garner a slightly cheaper ride than regular taxis. Lately, there has been some pushback by taxi drivers on UBER since it hurts their business. So we advise you to use some common sense and basic travel ethic if you decide to use UBER.

VISA FOR INDONESIA

free 30-day visa stamp. The day of your arrival counts as Day 1.

Please click here to find out if you require a visa.
